        CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Stanley R. Hoffman Associates, Inc. has an advanced placement Internship Program connected to the UCLA Graduate School of Public Affairs in the Department of Urban Planning. Each December, we attend the UCLA Internship Fair that offers students and employers a chance to meet and discuss mutual interests. Students and employers are then matched according to mutual interests and needs. www.spa.ucla.edu/up/internfair

The resultant internship gives first year Urban Planning graduate students the opportunity to play active roles in current projects and studies in the economic, fiscal and financial areas of planning.

Our Internship Program has been active since 1984 and has enabled students to get practical experience by working directly with the Principal and Project Manager and receive practical training in the application of economic, market and fiscal techniques to land use planning.

Students must be proficient with such computer programs as Excel and have a basic understanding of statistical and spatial analysis tools such as GIS. It is an excellent way to learn the dynamics of computer-based analysis, research techniques and project analysis.

We are conveniently located in the Brentwood area near the UCLA campus.
