        INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Stanley R. Hoffman Associates, Inc. has an Internship Program that offers graduate Urban Planning students the opportunity to play active roles in ongoing projects and in the economic, fiscal and financial areas of planning. It is an ongoing quarterly program that can fulfill course requirements and is also available as a full time summer internship.

Our Internship Program has been active since 1984 and enables students to receive practical experience by working directly with Principals and Project Managers.  They receive training in the application of economic, market and fiscal techniques to land use planning. Interns are able to assist in research, documentation and analysis and can work directly with public and private entities enabling them to gain skills in related careers in the planning field.

Students must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.  It is an excellent way to learn the dynamics of computer-based analysis and research techniques. We are located in the Brentwood area near the UCLA campus.

Our current Fall intern is Christopher Jones, a 2nd year student in the Masters of Urban and Regional Planning program at UCLA.  His concentration is on design and development.  He received his Bachelor of Arts in Planning and Public Policy with a minor in economics from Rutgers University.
