Stanley R. Hoffman, FAICP · Marcine Osborn · Bravish Mallavarapu Robert E. Goldman, Mr. Goldman has extensive experience in public finance as well as real estate market analysis. Since becoming a consultant eight years ago, he has worked on many public sector fiscal and financing projects and has performed many residential and commercial market analyses for both public-sector and private clients in California. In the course of this work, Mr. Goldman has developed a broad understanding of public sector finance in California and has worked with most available financing techniques. Prior to becoming a consulting economist with SRHA in 1998, Mr. Goldman was an economic consultant for Angus MacDonald & Associates. Prior to this, he started, developed and sold a successful computer software firm (Geogroup) that offered expertise in geographic database systems. Geogroup was one of the first software firms to develop a desktop computer mapping and geographic information system. Prior to this, Mr. Goldman had extensive experience as a public employee, working at the local, regional and Federal levels. While at Santa Clara County he led the Planning Department's effort in a County-wide transportation planning study and was a key participant in the design of the County's property information system. While at the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG), Mr. Goldman had overall responsibility for developing the agency's first regional forecasting system. He worked with staff from various state and regional agencies, private-sector and university consultants, and cities and counties throughout the Bay Region in designing and successfully implementing this system.
